Enhance "Forum Rules" at registration
Hi all
I have a good idea for enhancing the "forum rules" check at registration. I searched for a modification here, but I couldn?t find anything suitable. My idea: I found a modification here to delay clicking the checkbox before "I have read, and agree to abide by the vBulletin Community Forum rules." but I think that is not the best solution for this. Can anyone create an add-on that the user has to scroll down to the end of the forum rules textbox for the checkbox to be activated? I do have a lot of text in this textbox see here: http://www.forenabmahnungen.de/register.php? and I do want the user to read this before registering, so I want him to scroll to the end of this box before he/she can click the checkbox. Would anyone code this for me or give me advice, where I have to change which code? I do not have any programming knowledge so please be as detailed as possible. Thanks in advance Markus |
Hi
No one else interested in improving this? |
I wonder if you could do it with a template edit... and add the check box inside the scroll box at the bottom...
I'll fiddle with it and see if what I'm thinking will work, because I do agree that is a great idea to force them to thumb through the rules :) Yep it was a quicky :) https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=138930 |
