ARGH!!!!!!!!! I'm Frustrated!

I first want to say - I applaud the time and effort the vb.org team has put into reorganizing the site. I really appreciate that your trying so hard.

I have a new forum that has a different topic then I usually deal with, so I went looking for hacks to suit this new site.

The mods forums really need to be organized. Having just 2 sub forums, one for add ons and one for template mods - just isnt working for me.

I really miss the break down between things like profile enhancements, forumhome enhancements, admin tools, etc. It makes it very hard to look for specific areas to improve.

Further, searching doesnt help much because most words are common to the threads, like profile, forumhome, etc. These search terms bring up many posts that arent relevant to what im looking for. Ive spent hours just looking for hacks, most of that time spent searching and looking at hacks that have nothing to do with the area im looking to mod. i.e. profile

Please look at some better organization for the mods forums.

One more suggestion...

Often times I find a hack that is new and im not prepared to install yet. Maybe all the bugs arent working yet or a feature I need isnt included yet. Or maybe its a hack I might want to use later on, but its not the focus of the project im working on at the time.

How about a WATCH THIS HACK option - where, kinda like ebay, I can keep a list of hacks that I havent installed, but want to remember to check on at a later date.

Thanks for listening to my rant... :)

I second that suggestion.

One more suggestion, while im on a rant....

How about the ability to sort hacks by when they were created, instead of by the last post time.

Sick of me yet? :D

I dont know about you - but I already have more then enough bookmarks. Plus, then I have to look at each hack individually.

Mods are already broken down (sub divided) by their prefix, and you can display just a particular prefix if you want, and while the prefix list may need looking at, and tweaking slightly (the list is quite old and missing some areas relevant to 3.5/3.6) I don't see what else is needed.

As for a watch list, such a feature may come at some point, but it's not a high priority as you can already do this by creating a subscription folder called "Watch" (or whatever you prefer) and simply subscribing to the threads (with no notification).
