Updating forum cache
 

Hi,

vBulletin is saving a cache of all forums, but I don't know how and where I can change these informations.

What I need is a function and/or class that can rebuild or update the forum cache from the data stored in vb_forum.

My plan is to make my own files for the Administration Panel, that are able to modify some information for one or multiple forums in the database. Currently I'll have to edit the display order for all forums or edit a single one to make my changes take effect, but what I'm looking for is a function/class that I can run myself to do this job :p

I've run in to the same problem. I have to update the forum table from external cfm App. Although i'm able to update the forum database from this external app, look for way to rebuild the cache..Please let me know if you were able to figure it out...Thanks in advance.

I need help with this also.
