Attachement in database or as file? which one is better?

sorry for my english...:)
i'm running vBulletin 3.6.4 and my database (integrated attachement) is 500 MB.
dose attachment integrated with database is better or as a file?

in your database they take up database space, in the file system they take up file storage space. Basically the one that you use depends on your server space and restrictions.
