Vista
 

So....... Has anyone made the venture into Vista yet? I was at the store early yesterday to get a couple of copies. Got it installed on the laptop here and I gotta say I love it. Going to put it on the pc tomorrow. I splurged on the Ultimate version for the laptop and just got the home premium for the pc.

I had a couple issues when installing but no big deal. It's actually much faster than XP and way cooler. My FTP program isn't working however. I use WSFTP Professional and it's not recognizing my license and when looking at my e-mail from them the license information is not there so I had to e-mail them and waiting to hear. Other than that I'm having a blast........

Anyone else?

If you use imacs or just mac fans then you probablly wouldn't know :eek:



I want vista but its requiring my computer to run a 541651798164487465498465498416576544198465451ghz processor which I don't have currently :D

I dunno..... I've got a huge amount of programs on this thing and that's the only 1 that doesn't work. If they don't write me by tomorrow I'm just going to go buy another ftp program.......

Used it in the betas, but meh don't think I'll be upgrading untill the summer when it's a bit more stable and I have a new video card.

I'll upgrade once they release the first Service Pack.

It is nice, I have had all the betas and the RTM of Ultimate edition etc....It is a huge resource hog though!! Be prepared to run a mega machine lol

Running awesomely fast on the laptop here...... :) Does that mean I have a mega machine? wooooohooooooooo! :D

I have found that's it much much quicker than XPpro......
