vBulletin Template Conditionals and Variables

Hi,

I am trying to find a complete list of ALL vBulletin Template Conditionals and Variables that can be used. There are some excellent lists around but they only have a few listed on them.

I would appreciate any help.

Regards,

Peter

There are so many that you are probably a lot better off asking what conditionals can be used to do a certain thing as and when you need them.

Hi,

Thanks for that. I actually have that excellent document plus a few smaller ones.

I was hoping someone might have put them all into one large doc for people who want to do some vbulletin programming.

I shall keep looking.

Thanks again,

Peter

I mean no offense by this, so please don't take it that way, but this reply doesn't answer the poster's question. I have the same question -- where's the list, please -- and I'm guessing that his reason for asking for it is as valid as mine. Maybe it's even the same as mine.

My reason is this: I've been looking for the names of many different variables for vB and have been repeatedly unable to find them by simply looking for, as you say, "what conditionals [or vB system variables] can be used to do a certain thing as and when you need them."

For example: you search for "list of forums" anywhere. Here, Google, the vB manual, anywhere. You won't get an answer unless you already know it. Useless and frustrating.

So, it would be helpful to have a list of all variables, conditionals and callable functions. It would be helpful to get a feeling for what the Jelsoft folks call stuff. That could be a hint on where to find things or for, as you say, "asking what [does] a certain thing".

While your suggestion is useful for some things, it would be really swell if we could also get the answer to the question and then go with the suggestion. Thanks very much.

hello,

I purchased vbzone some time ago, and the template conditions list is on vBulletinSetup now :)
I'd added a link above to the thread you can find the list at now.

cheers

Looking elsewhere.

So you had to bump a 2 year thread to note the link didn't work??
Couldn't you have just reported the post that had the dead link??
