changing index.php to forum.php - easiest way / pitfalls?

Hi

Just about to change index.php to a portal page rather than the forumhome page.

Is there an easy way to make all the links through vB to point to forum.php instead of index.php?

Any major pitfalls?

The index page name is a setting in vbulletin options.
