External "Newest Posts" Box

Is there a way I can put a box that displays new posts onto a different part of my website? I have a flash template that I just got for my site and I want a part of the template to display the newest posts and such in the box.

This template is for the topsite, which means it is separate from my forums.

Any help is appreciated
