Single Site Login Integration
 

Hello,

I want to have it so that when someone logs in on my MAIN site, it automatically logs them in to the forums.

I have done quite a bit of searching but unfortunately cannot find anything.

How can I do this?

I have already created the users on the forums using the datamanager.

So I can do a simple check on the users username, and just log that in.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I looked into this awhile back, talked to 4-5 different people with alot of experience and checked it out. From what I found it looks to be difficult. It also looked like it would be easier to work backwards and use the user table from the forum to make logins to the site.

yea but then how am i gonna be able to add the fields required for my other script to vbulletin? i mean, the registration i have on my site requires some stuff, that vbulletin registration does not provide. do you have any ideas on how can i work on that?
