vb.org Archive - Simple question I think..I hope

HI

I have recently updated my forum with a new front end for other links etc.

My site is www.askaboutvalidation.com, what I want to do is include the same header and footer that I have on my home page in my forum.

Basically in the contol panel there is a text box for editing the header and footer when I place the follwing code in the header it doesn't locate my stylesheets

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href=".stylesheet1.css" >
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet2.css" >
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet3.css" >
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet4.css" >

even though I have also placed these stylesheets in the forum folder.

I just can't figure this out please help
