How can I make the smilie box bigger?

It's always a little annoying having that little box up when you click on 'more smilies'. Where can I go to increase the default size of the pop up?

In the templates, go to Editor Templates > editor_clientscript

Change the 2 numbers :

var smiliewindow_x = 300;
var smiliewindow_y = 500;

For me it was enough to change it to 300 and 500, but for you it could be different.

Thanks a bunch! I thought nobody was going to answer that question :)

I found this post and thought that this would be great for me since I've got quite a few smilies installed, but I doesn't work when setting those values. Do I need to do something else as well, like setting how many smilies to display somewhere or something?

Chances are you are changing the file under the default theme and your using a custom theme, search for editor_clientscript under the them you are using.

This is what I was doing until I realized why it wasn't working.

How do you make it so that the smilies are not so far apart in the box?

I'm running the second theme as a child theme, which means it inherits everything from the default theme, so that shouldn't matter. But I'll check anyways if this can have been the problem.
