I've asked if this was possible before, and since it doesn't seem to be (due to lack of reply), I'm hoping there's someone out there with the ability to build a hack or mod or whatever LOL.

Ideally, since I'm making a wish list here, it would be really cool if a user could click and drag to select the portion of the post they'd like to quote, so that once they click the quote button, their selection is the only part that will show. Is this something that's possible using AJAX?

(I've written tutorials on how to ONLY include 'some' text in your quoted reply, I guess it's too much work for some, or they wind up breaking the bbcode... any alternative solutions are also very welcome!)
