Is there a modification to close the gaps between forums?

Hello,

After installing a new skin, there are a lot of gaps between the forums, that I find to be a bit cumbersome. Is there a mod to close those gaps? I've seen a hack to put a space in between them.

Thank again.

You would need to change the contents of a template (or possibly more than one), not install a hack or mod.

If you don't like the gaps on the Forum Home page, post a link to your boards and the contents of your forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template - someone should be able to point you in the right direction.

Yeah man, here it is. :)

So, what can I change to get rid of that big gap on the top, between the navbar and beneath the banner, and how do I get rid of the gap between the forums? Thanks a lot. :)

Well to get rid of the gaps between each category section just remove the div off the bottom:

Code:

<div style="padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px;"></div>
However I think your forums look fine seperated the way they are now, I think you should leave the gap!

As for the large gap above the navbar, I can see what's causing it, but without seeing exactly how it's laid out in your templates I can't say for sure how to remove it. Try posting your header template, we'll see if it's in there :)

Thanks, Aken, I'll get on that a bit later in the afternoon.

With regards to my header.....funny you should mention that. ;)
