Catagory > Forum > Subforum layout question
 

Hello all, I'd like to know if it is possible to have a Category on my main index that opens up to a list of forums (easy part). In this list of forums is a forum with a subforum (still easy). I want this subforum to show up only once you enter the forum it's a child of...not on the list of forums underneath the Category (hard part of me).

What I don't want is the subforum "Schedule a game" showing up in that second image...just in the 3rd. I'll have this same subforum in all of the game forums and do not want them cluttering up the layout.

Have you tried playing with the settings in "Forums Listings Display Options" found in the general settings menu?

It's in the vBOptions. I can't remember the exact name, but soemthing along the lines of "forum listing" and sub forum depth or something.... If you are still unable to find it I can find the exact path after work...

go into your admin cp -> vb options -> forum listing display options -> change the depths to 2 , 2, and 1
