Dropdown menu's loadingtime
 
I have several dropdown menu's in my header template for site navigation purposes, these are linked to the navbar template. However i notice that these dropdowns wont work untill everything on the page is loaded.

Im wondering if there is a way to;

- make it so the images for these dropdown's don't show up untill everything on the page is loaded. i.e. the images are the last things to load.

or

- make it so the dropdowns just work right away, without having to wait on everything to be loaded.
