Domain

I was wondering I have this domain but don't use it, it's www.vs-industries.com, I was wondering how much it would be sold for?

Very little, it's probably not worth even what you paid for it. It's a bit of an inexact science but I'm fairly well researched. Your main problem is that it doesn't have a wide potential audience. Unless you're called VS Industries or VS is relevant to your company/industry, it's of no use. And even then hyphenated domains are less likely to sell than those without hypens.

But it's worth what anyone will pay for it really. I'm assuming it'll be virtually impossible to find anyone that the domain has any value to, but if you find someone of the kind I mentioned above you might do OK. Very unlikely though.

yes such domains don't hold much value, unless a company with that name wants to reach online audience and can't find any better domains that are available.

For such domains, if you want to sell, your best bet would be to develop a site for it and then sell it. If your not up to it, then just let it expire.

I'm curious of the price of my domain. I'm not going to sell it.
My domain is: xenweb.net

Hm. I would not think very much. How about a quote on my domains:

stargateforums.com/.net/.org

I think you guys missed RedTyger's point. Unless you have a widely-saught domain name, usually by a corporation or someone looking to make quite a bit of money off the site, there's no demand for your name, and thus it's not going to be worth any more than a standard domian name.

Although I would give stargateforums the award for having the most demand out of the domains mentioned thus far, due to the recognition of a nationally-televised sci-fi series.

Still, though. It's not worth asking :D
