Copying cpanel from different servers using whm.

Hi, just a quick bit of advice needed.
If i use whm transfer/copy function to move a board from one server to another does it affect the source board in any way. I don't want to mess it up.
It has a small db about 150mb and i have cpanel login details.

Yes it does so I'd recommend you to close your board before you attempt any backups.
