Please Review Nigerians.us

Please I would like a review on

http://www.nigerians.us
The Federation of Nigerians Online

My goal is to keep it as plain as possible so that it is easy for my clientel to use some of whom may not have regualr internet connection like we are used to in the states. I noticed that the most successfull Nigerian forum uses a free script and is just a plain forum and yet has over 86,000 active members. Nigerians are all about the content.
Please what are your honest opinion and what can I do better.

It's a great start for a site............If the header logo you are using is gonna be your official site header, you may want to look at doing a vb style that has those color's in it....Just go to the top of the page here and click on style's and locate a style that may work for your site......

Hotwheels,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to review the site. I know most people shy away because of the Name and the bad reputation the country is associated with. However they are still people and their are a lot of well meanning Nigerians.
As per your suggestion on the style, here is my deliemma. Green is the official color of Nigerian and its flag but green is also ugly as a vb style. I would rather change the color of the logo to match the Vb than vice versa. But in doing this I will loose the only identity the site has to its roots.
Honestly though, I am just asking what is wrong with a logo standing out. That was my original intention. I want people to remember the name so they don't mistakenly go to the .com instead of www.Nigerians.us.
Once agian thanks a lot for your time and I still welcome reviews.

Hotwheels,
Ok you are a genius. I have just seen a skin that might work. My only problem now is that I am still in the desert with the Armed forces so installation is usually a challenge for me due to FTP restriants.
Thanks
