Import calendar ics into calendar, export calendar

Does anyone know if there is a mod or hack which would allow the import of an ics calendar into calendar? it would save me a lot of time if I could just pull ics data in instead of having to create a new item for each event.
I'd also like to be able to export the forum calendar so it can be shared with other vb forums where the events might be of interest, does a hack exist for this?
