Can we limit the lines of text in a quoted post?

We have some members that just do not get how obtrusive it is to quote an ENTIRE post, when really only a few lines are relevant to their reply. :mad:

I would very much like to limit the amount of the quoted post that shows in the reply, is there any way to do this? I've searched all the mod forums and can't find anything. :confused:

I'm running Vers. 3.6.4
