Finding when an attachment was last accessed?

Is it possible to search for / display / perge attachments based on when they were last accessed. My forums have over 60gb of attachments and it can really make backups a pain in the ass (daily + weekly + monthly backups == total of 240gb+ wasted on attachments alone).
