thread rating like on vB.org

Hi

Is the hack that moves the thread rating above the thread like it is here for mods on vB.org available?

If so where can I find it?

It's not released, but it looks like just a template edit so playing with the SHOWTHREAD template could do it without much trouble.

yeah it is good to place rating in front of users eyes

would be nice to have this - it is AJAX so it is not "just" template edit I guess...

This way it really make sense for rating of thread.

I second that. I'd like to have it on forum.

What about this hack ???

StarBuG 01-20-2007 11:04 AM

@ DPSR, that would do it but it is by far not as the one on vB.org.

Anyone any Idea how to achieve this?

Actually DPSR is right..if you dig around in that post you will find this:

Ahh thank you.

I missed that.

I have two questions though:

1) How can I get a permanent "vote" button like here on vB.org and not use ajax?

2) Currently the message you get after voting is not formated (I use the modified version from post #6). It does not show in the colored box/div with background color.
How can I get it to display it within this box/div?

If I add divs around or inside of
Code:

<span id="oneclick_threadrating_response"></span>
<span id="oneclick_threadrating_current"></span

The answer does not show at all but this is the part that generates the "thank you for rating" message.

Any help is appreciated
