Cutom Moderator rank and title

my question is when u assign someone as a moderator to single forum they dnt i dnt change their group in the forum where they have moderator rights in it shows their usual rank and title but i wanna change this to custom title and rank ass well and this 2 will show up only in that forum where they have moderator rights so another thing is that for smods and admins they have right to moderate in every forum so this cutom rank and te title will show up on every forum for sup mods and admins but the thing is with a small modification can we make this code work for admins and mods like if u assign a smod or an admin as a moderator to a sinle forum custom title and rank will show up and as all the other forum the usual rank and itle will show up...

i saw this modification on smf and it really amazed me and i kno that lots of vb users wud like it if anybody come up with this modification thnx...

srry my bad english i want the posters in a thread to show up as moderators, but only if they were the moderator in a certain forum. So if a given user is a moderator in a forum everyone can see that when he posts the posts are coming from a moderator. But if the user goes to a forum where he is not the moderator he appears as normal - with no moderator title and since all the admins and supermods have right to moderato on all forums moderator title will show up on all forums can we modify vb so this wuld work admins and smods too

Sounds like a template edit to only show the user as a moderator in the forums that they are moderators.

At least that's my interpretation of what you've written, and I figured that on your first post. I too was planning to look for such an edit, but never got around to it yet. If you do find an edit for this then please post it here, and I will do likewise if I come across something :)

Edit: Having not been here for a while I had completely forgot that we have had this conversation before. You have a series of threads on this, e.g. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=123353

Edit 2: Looks like r5e suggests an answer in another of your previous threads on this - https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=126122

hey jay jay im using this code on postbit legacy template

Code:

<if condition="can_moderate($forum[forumid], '', $post[userid]) AND !($post[usergroupid]==6 OR IS_MEMBER_OF($post, 5))"><div class="smallfont">Moderator</div><else /><if condition="$post['usertitle']"><div class="smallfont">$post[usertitle]</div></if></if>

but this code only works or member doesnt work for staff like supermoderator based usergroups or admins and i was wondering if we can make this code work for admins and supermods too
