Explain how the attachment paperclip works
Hi - I would like to figure out the logic behind how the paperclip shows up. Can you explain please?
I would like to replicate this for someone that embeds youtube videos. Ultimately I would to show a youtube icon like the paperclip. I am not a newbie, but I do need some direction to get started. Thanks in advance! caliman |
If there is an attachment in the thread, the paperclip icon shows. That's pretty much it, it does not differentiate between attachment types. There is no function at all to list the BBCode used in a thread in the same manner, so the whole thing would have to be added from scratch.

So it's looking for
Code:
[attach][/attach] If that is the case, couldn't one be made quickly that looks for youtube tags? What file contains the logic for the paperclip? |
