Using VB to run an online business
Hi all... I am working on a new endeavor and happen to have an extra VB license "sitting around" so I thought I might figure a way to use it.
I am starting an on-line business and need to put up a site for it. I need to be able to track inventory, do storefront/shopping cart type stuff, et. I was thinking of using my spare VB license for this since I enjoy the ease of use with the CM frontend as far as managing announcements and such. Plus I would like to turn the business website into a sort of value-add site... people come for the info and such but then maybe make some purchases along the way? Anyone using VB in this way, and what has been your sucesses and frustrations with doing so? |
