default meta description?
I just started a new forum and noticed some of my threads are starting to get indexed in google. However, the description of the threads are
"User Control Panel, Private Messages, Subscriptions, Who's Online, Search Forums, Forums Home, Welcome to GatorEnvy.com, Gator Envy Original News and Info ..." Is there a way to set a default description for threads being indexed. Or Can I somehow have the description in the google results be the first few lines of the post? It has the correct description for the forum index page that I set in my admincp, but it only uses it for the homepage on the google results, none of the threads. Thanks! |
