Forcing all curent and future members to accept t&cs before continuing
 

Hi everyone,

Wonder whether anybody can help with some ideas on how to conquer this problem I've got with my forum at the moment:

Basically we have taken the advice that we need to implement stricter disclaimers and terms and conditions of usage (+ privacy policy too).

Previously we've just had announcements, emails and posts outlining our policies.

Is there a way to get the 1000+ users to jump through a hoop to say they have read and accepted the new terms, BEFORE they are able to continue using the forums? I only want them to have to click "accept" the once, but I am not sure whether it's possible or not, if not I don't mind them having to click everytime they log on. The forums can not be viewed by guests by the way. It is crucial that nobody can continue to view/use the forums without having accepted the terms and conditions. Atfer all have done so, I suppose I could implement the T&C agreement into the registration process, but for now I must conquer the first 1000 or so exisiting members.

Will it allow me to creat a usergroup of those who haven't accepted the rule, and then I can make that usergroup akin to unregistered, so they may not even view the forum?
