v.i.p permissions
 

SO ive set up a promotion that when my members get 500 posts they get m,oved to the v.i.p user group

but HOW can i do it so that i have a forum that EVERY usergroup can see on the main board but when they click on it they are denied untill they are in the v.i.p usergroup?

I'd say the easiest way to do it is to set the permisions to :

• Can View Forum : yes
• Can View Thread Content : no
• Can View Others' Threads : no
• Can Post Threads : no
• ETC.

yessir but i want a select usergroup to view content etc

So set the permissions in admincp/forum permissions for that usergroup(v.i.p.) to be able to view the content.

ive tried that bu tit says somthing about this will not come into effect unless somthing else is done, and it doesnt work
