FTP/folder paths
 

Okay, I cannot get this to work at all. It might have something to do with the ftp, and Im not sure how to fix it. Everything is saved the right way, such as forum_new.jpg etc. and the folder paths are correct. All our staff have tried to make sure. We are lost. PLEASE can someone help?

you might wanna start with describing the problem at hand. I cant make out what the issue is other than the fact that you are having problems with FTP Paths.

Cant give you a working example unless I know how you have saved stuff. Maybe post a screenshot of your FTP folder from the root view and what you are trying to achieve.

Well, I cant find a problem, it just wont find the path. And I assure you it is correct.

Say, I have images/skin/buttons and all the buttons in there. I type that in the stylevar under buttons and it just doesnt work. I dont know what the problem is or how to find out. :(

Have you tried using the entire path? eg: http://www.yoursite.com/images/skin/buttons

It would also help to know what the relationship of this images/skin/buttons directory is to your forums directory... you may simply have to add a / to images/skin/buttons like this /images/skin/buttons

Yes, use the full URL and it will work. ;)

Try right-clicking on the broken images, then click Properties to see where the image is being called from.
