Public joinable udergroups.
 

I have a user group that I'd like to make "public joinable", but I want to moderate those who vrequest to join it.

I have worked out that checking the "yes" box in the "Public (Joinable) Custom Usergroups" option allows me to make the usergroup joinable, but it seems anyone requesting entry to the usergroup automatically get in, they don't appear in the "join request" section.

How can I make it so those requesting to join can't have access until I let them?

set one or more group leaders. It's in the dropdown list in the usergroup manager.
