PNG Avatars
 
I've been searching for a solution to this for several days, but came up empty.

I'd like, if possible, for my members to be able to upload/use png images for their avatar, and keep the transparency, instead of the background becoming white.

It is possible to do with sigs, but I havent found anything, or why it wont allow it with avatars.



(eg, - http://www.girlgamers.co.uk/forums/member.php?u=204 has a png avy, but is filled with a white background)

Any help would be muchly appreciated :)

It already supports transparent PNGs for avatars.... Of course, they won't be transparent in IE6. :D

Yeah I thought it did, but, I use firefox anyway, but I've just tested this on ff, ie6 and opera, and the avy isnt transparent on any of them. But the link you provided, the avy is.

Maybe it's to do with the way its saved as a png? Was the member profile I showed you, did the avy have a transparent background for you, or was it white?
