woah something bad just happened to the login
 

I logged out and now i cant log back into my admin panel or my site. It says "thanks for logging in" then brings me back to the login screen. Cant post, cant admin, nothing! What happened and how do i fix it!

wow, that sucks. im not a technical wizard, but have you tried accessing the admin panel by just using the link to it? should be something like yourdomain/forumfolder/admincp/index.php

sounds like a bad cookie. try clearing your cookies before trying again.

i dont know what happened but its back now. weird.

Also during the same time i had a new user write me to tell me he couldnt make an account as it put him in the same login loop over and over.

One setting i did change was I added the one that requires a new user to reply to an email on registration. I wonder if that messed me up as a old user who never got an email?

the whole thing was very stressfull and strange
