News system created using vBulletin
Hey,
My site has previously used phpBB for the upmost part of the backend - news system, user system and whatnot, and, it's done us well up until now, but we feel vBulletin would be the better choice for our site. Everything is going fine - user system adapted and whatnot, only problem, I can't seem to work out how to pull the news from the forum with the id of two. the news needs to display like this: News Title Written by post Author <first post of the thread here> (number of replies to thread) Replies (<-- this links to the thread) This may seem a bit of a daunting request but could you possibly help us out in coding this system? It's a simple script I bet and i'm messing up on something silly. Thanks alot, Andy :) |
Um. Try RSS:
http://www.yoursite.tld/forum_dir/ex...php?forumids=2 Than use a language or something to manipulate that to show what you want... |
Thanks for the reply but when I type in my details of the link you gave me it just comes up with a blank page.
Is RSS already installed n vBulletin or do I have to install it. Andy |
