Limit amount of online users
 
I'm using a Virtual Dedicated server for my vbulletin. Whenever there are 400 users online, the site stops working due to database error. I wanna limit the amount of online users only 350. The 351th user will receive a ' SERVER IS TOO BUSY RIGHT NOW' message. Please help me to do this , thanks

The picture is not really much use - you need to view the source on the page to see the real error. If you are on a dedicated server then you should trace and fix the problem, not try and hide it - a dedicated server should not fail as you describe.

(BTW, I would guess you probably have too low a setting for your max mysql connections)

I'm not an expert on community growing, but I think it would be time better spent if you were to spend it trying to get better performance out of your server (or start thinking about adding another one if this is a constant "problem").
