Let user abale to read his PM only but unable to send PM
 

Hello,

Can you help me to let the user can only read his PMs but can not creat&send PM until he reach 100 posts.

I am already use a product which prevent new user to use PM until he reach 100 posts.

You can do this with conditionals and without any code changes...

Just find each of the place where there is a PM icon (postbit, user cp shell, etc...) and place the following code around the PM link.

<if condition="$bbuserinfo[posts]>99"> .... </if>

This will only show the icon to people with over 99 posts.

To insure people can't get around the feature, open the send message template (pm_newpm) and use the same code to only show the form to people who meet your criteria. You can also display a message to people who do not.
