VBulletin Pre Sale Questions
 

Hello vBulletin lovers!
Before buying vBulletin, I would like to know the following:
1. Which is the best community mod for vBulletin? Could you please provide a link.

2. What different download mods are there? Which is the best? I would like a tab at the top of the page which says "Downloads".

3. Is there any article mod? I have searched, but the search function on this site doesnt work properly.

4. What other sites besides this one works with creating mods, skins and templates?

• If you mean community by Portal, I recommend vBAdvanced. If you are asking generally what is the best mod for vB that is your complete opinion.

One more question: I would like to install my vBulletin and mods on my computer, and then when everything is perfect send it all to my server. What would I do to make sure everything is going to be the same on the server, without missing some database files and things like that.

Would I have to send the C:\mysql\data folder, is that where all the database files are stored?

You would need to backup your local database, and restore it to your server. Next copy over all files.
