Currently Active Users on it's on page
 
To conserve resources when the forum home page displays, I want to have the Currently Active Users totals and user listing accessible via a link from the forum home page and have it display on its own page.

Users still want to see this so I can not turn it off. I'm familiar with creating additionl vB pages via templates and php, but I have not been successful in getting this to work. So, I thought that I would ask and see what you guys have to say.

My vB version: 3.6.4
