template modification documentation
Is there a standard recommendation for authors to document their work as they go?
<!-- [START HACK='Yet Another Awards System hack' AUTHOR='HacNho'] --> If this is used for anything with the START, HACK or AUTHOR but as a way to document changes in templates, it was nice to see it today. If nothing else, comments are handy when going back over troubleshooting later. I suppose I can just drop in a <!-- [hack-or-modue-name] --> code to be modified or added <!-- [hack-or-modue-name] --> as a minimum Any suggestions or best practices? |
