Winter storm warning is cancelled... ...Blizzard warning in effect from 5 am Wednesday to 11 am mst Thursday... The national weather service in cheyenne has issued a blizzard warning...Which is in effect from 5 am Wednesday to 11 am mst Thursday. The winter storm warning has been cancelled. Light snow will begin late this evening and increase in intensity and coverage Wednesday and Wednesday night. Strong north winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph will likely produce blizzard conditions with near zero visibility in blowing and drifting snow Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Storm total snowfall amounts by midday Thursday will range from 15 to 20 inches with drifts to five feet deep.

I've never seen more than 5 inches on the ground at one time. When I was a kid we used to get out of school if it snowed more than an inch. :)

I hate snow but if it were to snow like that here I'd probably enjoy it (at least until I had to drive somewhere ;)). Hope you stocked up on food and milk like the crazy people do here. :p

yea, we are all stocked up on supplies.........hopefully we won't get the 5' snowdrifts.....those make for a long day.
