seems to work good, but couldn't find where to assign my custom title. my pages are consequently spelling out "Your forum name". I tried looking in the actual XML file to edit and reinstall, and also of course in the editable plugin sections of the xml, namely "main_code" and "cache" to find that no matter what i edited the title was still spelling "Your forum name".
my installation is less than 24 hours old, so this is probably not a problem with your code but with my naivite regarding hacking vBulletin. I do not intend to be naive for long. i've already added the Link and Downloads pruduct successfully. any helpful suggestions to access the editable parts of this plugin (ie directions for dummies on how to customize the script) would be much appreciated. Thanks Ziki! |
doh. i found it. vBulletin Options: ZH Title Writing. LOL

interesting side note on this type of style writing,
back in 1995, my cousin, who is now an expert webmaster for a well establish non-profit, PBS.org, taught me that simple trick... how it used to get done was simply coding this in the HTML: Quote:
back then you couldn't loop the effect, nor could you have control over the speed of it... 11 years later its cool to see how the concept has evolved. |

Nice, very interesting Im trying this out now :) |
Edit:
Yeah ok its nice, but the loop efect can get annoying, how about adding an option whether you want it to loop or not? |
