User's profile in postbit vs user's 'forumpage'

We have a rather longish list of user's profile options which are shown on the postbit, under the avatar to the left of each post.

Instead of that, it would be preferable to have a shorter profile options on top of the post, to the right of the avatar, plus a forumpage for each member, linked from the profile. Ideally with more options than just profile fields.

Any tips/links anyone? :)
