Maybe a BUG ?
the other day my server went crazy and emailed me around 70 times to tell me that i had Mysql errors and this was what they contained and please note there was only around 300 people online and thats very low my site can handle over 1000.
Maybe the mysql is not being closed or a loop somewhere in a script i dunno just chucking ideas you way. anyway i have disabled the hack until someone can shed some light ------------------------------------------ Database error in vBulletin : mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Too many connections /usr/local/apache/htdocs/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 273 MySQL Error : Error Number : Date : Wednesday, December 13th 2006 @ 02:38:38 PM Script : http://www.digitalworldz.com/forums/...de&do=newscore Referrer : http://www.digitalworldz.com/forums/...lay&gameid=294 IP Address : ********** Username : Classname : vB_Database ------------------------------------- |

I got the same and with the older version it kinda flooded the MySql ... After I updated to the Flatline shoutbox all is OK ... |
i have the flat file shoutbox installed
bt this has nothing to do with the shoutbox the SQL flooding is coming from this script http://www.digitalworldz.com/forums/...de&do=newscore and it was around 70 times that it did it before it closed down the system anywayi will leave this off until someone can confirm if any code in there is either in a loop or there is a bug ?
