guidelines for my moderators help!
 

hi all!!! just a quickie really, i've been running a small forum for about 6 months and have come across the fact that each of my admin/mods have different styles of moderating. one likes to ban, one likes to just post sarcastic abuse :( and its scaring my few members away!!!

i'm going to post up some guidlines for them to follow like...if a member uses inappropriate language, remove/edit the post and pm the member reminding them of the rules. If it continues, use a temporary 3 day ban etc

Just wondering if anyone on here has some guidelines that they have for their mods and whether you would mind sharing them with me (so i can write a really comprehensive thread!!)

if you google "moderator rules" or the like you'll come up with a ton of examples. I did the same and pieced mine together from there.
