urgent help changing database
 
really really stuck

made a new forum on a 'test db' now its ready to go live.

i've uploaded all the files, links etc..

i cant make it pick up the content from my old database :( it wont read mty old db, so i'm assuming i have to import the data into the new db


how do you do this?

It should pick up the data from your old db simply by changing the info within your config.php file. If you do decide to do an import, just be sure the source data is same version of vb as destination vb. Also impex is a great tool for importing from an active db.
