'Login' and 'Registration' links with own code
 

Hi,

Our client already has 'login' and 'registration' functionality available on their site. We now want to add a vBulletin forum to their site.

Is there any way that we can modify the customer's existing 'login' and 'registration' functionality on their site to automatically log into vBulletin? - following this, we will then want to remove the login and registration functionality from the vBulletin pages - is this possible?

I don't have an answer - but I can tell you that this is a community site and not officially vBulletin. If no one has the answer they'll leave it for the next person - and unfortunately that might mean there is no response.

You can always hire someone...

It can be done... Is the login on their existing site in PHP or PERL? It's quite simple either way. I've created a bridge in PERL to vbulletin so I can run just about any PERL code and interact with the vbulletin database.

Would need more information from you, but I could probably help you out.
