vBonjour - Navigation Add On

vBonjour

Easy Customizable Portal System

Navigation Add On

Brought to you by www.peterska2.co.uk

What is vBonjour?
vBonjour is an alternative to vBAdvanced. It is an easy to install, modular portal system designed as a gateway to your site.

Why vBonjour?
This is pretty simple really. As the front page is the first thing that your visitors see, it is a welcome page. The first few names that were thought of were either very boring, or far too long winded and not at all catchy.

What is the Navigation Add On?
The Navigation Add On adds a navigation block to your vBonjour installation. Installation of this add on is very simple.

Why is it so modular?
vBonjour is extremely modular to allow for maximum customization of the page. The idea is to make it as easy as possible to install the items that you want to have included, and not have anything which you would be simply turning off. By using a modular method it means that every site can easily achieve their own custom portal without having to know any coding.

I want to add something that isn't already included. How do I go about this?
vBonjour makes use of the plugin system and includes it's own hooks. This allows easy devlopment of additional Add Ons and maximum flexability.

What about the ACP? Is it really complicated?
Unlike other systems, almost all the settings for vBonjour are collected in one setting group in the vBOptions. Because you only install what you want to use, you don't need to have lots of settings. Anything which does not use settings in the Portal settings group is highlighted in the documentation for that Add On.

Ok, so where are the screen shots?
Why have screen shots when you can have a live demo?
The demo is available at www.peterska2.co.uk

What versions of vBulletin does vBonjour work with?
vBonjour will work with vBulletin 3.6.0 and above. Support for sites running versions earlier than 3.6.0 will not be given.

What versions of vBonjour does the Navigation Add On work with?
This module is currently compatible with vBonjour version 1.0.0

I hope that you like this system. Please remember to mark it as installed to recieve notification of updates and support. Support will only be provided to those who have clicked install.

Yeah, I fixed that between the beta version and the final version. :)

I think you may need to explain what each add on is a little more in each thread instead of what the portal is, because not everyone may know. (I know what most of them are, but thought it may come in handy to people who have not used portals before)

Thanks.

Very nice excellent job, here some Q l have, hacks and other stuff will work on this ?
Second does versions makes a different ?

I would imagine that most hacks can be modified to work with it. The ones I have tried so far have been a relatively simple process.

The current version of this add on is 1.0.0 which works with vBonjour Base System version 1.0.0 and above.

Kerry-Anne

I need your help plz :D

I am new to this and learning as much as i can from what other members have said in your threads.

I have installed the vBonjour Portal which works fine, i then install another addon called
Navigation Add On which worked fine until i added General Statistics Add On, then it went wrong.I also tried to install General Statistics Add On but this went wrong also. I really don't know what i have done wrong...I have uninstalled all mods as i think i made a big mess of it, i have left the vbonjour portal intact.

If i uninstall vbonjour portal and do the oppisite as to when i installed it, will i be able to install it again as fresh.???
