I posted this elsewhere, but I thought that maybe you all could help me get started, so any advice you have to share is appreciated.

I'm looking to create a new forum-based website and I've talked with a PHPBB user who recommended running vB as my back end site management tool. Obviously I want to maintain a quality front page with easy to access content too, which brought me to vBAdvanced.com This looks like the kind of site builder that would meet my needs.

So my next step is to look for a host. What hosts do you recommend that support vB and vBAdvanced currently? Are there any hosting services you would recommend I stay away from? And novice site developers - which hosts offered you solutions that made it easy to get from start to launch quickly?
