v ORG vs. Com??? - Presales also

WHY when I tried a demo and clicked the link to vBulletin it takes me to a .COM site where the pricing and pre sales forum is TOTALLY different than this one? Are these two , org and com, the same?

To ask presales there, I need to register again???

I'm on Pair.com. The MySql meets the min standards but their php is 4.3.1

Will this system work? Also, I manage several domains on my account [under my directory] and have other clients I host under their own accounts. What is the license requirement for multiple domain names, either under my directory or managed client accounts?

Thanks
Jeff

vBulletin.org is just a modification forum resource and does not provide the abilty to purchase vBulletin.

vBulletin is the offical place to buy vBulletin and get support.

To use the latest vBulletin you have to have atleast php 4.3.3. You should inform Pair.com you require this and they should update to the latest version of 4.3.x anyway. You'll be able to use vBulletin 3.5.x and below only unless they update their php, or you find other hosting.

And for every database you need a seperate vBulletin license.

Thanks,
I'm checking into alternate hosting and have asked Pair what is the time table. Not needed till Feb.
How is 3.5 hobbled compared to 3.6? So far I like what I see in the current demo.

its basicly the same, just bug fixes etc

3.5.x has a lot less features than 3.6.x

You can find the list of feature in 3.6.x which are not available in 3.5.x in this thread at vBulletin.com

I just found out from others and from the php man pages that unlike the Mac OS, 4.3.1 is actually 4.3.10 and a more recent release than 4.3.3, so I'm good to go.
