Don't allow moderators to physically remove things?

I don't want my moderators to be able to physically remove a post. Is there something I can do to make it so that only administrators can do it?

Before I looked into stuff like modifying $show['physicaldeleteoption'] for mods via a plugin or something, I thought I'd ask if there was an easier way. ;)
