Error in parsing of links since upgrade to 3.6.4

Every link I have in the site is behaving badly since the upgrade from 3.6.3 to 3.6.4

e.g. a simple link that I have put in as http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

comes up as the following when clicked on:
http://www.physiobob.com/forum/*http.../flashplayer/*

Also the similar thing happens with my WikiPedia links and any video link I have.

Can anyone advise. Is there a bug in the system?
